Twenty Something...

I was browsing thru my old email and found a very interesting article dated 3/5/2005. 5 years ago... i wasn't aware about the content of the email. 5 years later, while reading it i said to myself. This is so true :)

I don't know who wrote this, but I will share it.

"Being Twenty-Something They call it the "Quarter- life Crisis." It is when you stop going along with the crowd and start realizing that there are a lot of things about yourself that you didn't know and may not like. You start feeling insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or two, but then get scared because you barely know where you are now. You start realizing that people are selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you thought you were so close to aren't exactly the greatest people you have ever met and the people you have lost touch with are some of the most important ones. What you do not realize is that they are realizing that too and are not really cold or catty or mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as you. You look at your job. It is not even close to what you thought you would be doing or maybe you are looking for one and realizing that you are going to have to start at the bottom and are scared.You miss the comforts of college, of groups, of socializing with the same people on a constant basis. But then you realize that maybe they weren't so great after all. You are beginning to understand yourself and what you want and do not want. Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what others are doing and find yourself judging a bit more than usual because suddenly you realize that you have certain boundaries in your life and add things to your list of what is acceptable and what is not. You are insecure and then secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest force of your life. You feel alone and scared and confused. Suddenly change is the enemy and you try and cling on to the past with dear life but soon realize that the past is drifting further and further away and there is nothing to do but stay where you are or move forward. You get your heart broken and wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to you or you lay in bed and wonder why you can't meet anyone decent enough to get to know better. You love someone but maybe love someone else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this because you are not a bad person. You go through the same emotions and questions over and over and talk with your friends about the same topics because you cannot seem to make a decision. You worry about loans and money and the future and making a life for yourself and while winning the race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a contender! What you may not realize is that everyone reading this relates to it. We are in our best of times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can figure This whole thing out. Send this to your twenty-something friends...maybe it will help someone feel like they are not alone."

Dream Board: Gadgets

Do you have the power to Attract things? It's so simple. Just think positive and work for it. I have decided to create my dream board when i read Bo Sanchez' Blog. If you want to go the places that you've always dreamed of and things that you wish to buy, just cut out the pictures and post it to your room's wall. it's so easy haha. Me, i will just post it here. I will have all of these soon hahaha... LOA :) 1) pink laptop- will use it for my side line work of course (web designing/developing, shirt-print designing and graphics designing as well) 2) pink PSP -i love playing games when im bored, a very good time killer 3) Lumix Lx3- for snapshots, i want a handy cam with DSLR quality output for events and simple gatherings 4) pink Nokia c3- It's the cheapest wifi phone and why do i love it? it's because it's hot pink! 5) Apple itouch- i want to compile all of my favorite music and movies too, this is also a great travelling buddy 6) Canon 550d (Nikon will do too)- I want to explore photography more. One of my dream is to become a professional photographer and to shoot for magazines, print ads and billboards. That's it, for now. lol... Places soon...hihi :P

Have You Ever?

Have you ever felt waking up in the morning, thinking of a lot of things in your life? Realizing so many things, having regrets and wishing if you could just turn back the time to make things right? You want to stop the anxiousness but you don’t know how. It’s confusing, you can’t breathe, you just want to close your eyes forever and feel the peace in your mind and heart and then when you are ready to wake up, you saw the light already, dark shadows are gone and everything is on its right place.

Lucky 10.10.10

10.10.10 is a lucky and happy day for Caleb and Sheryll. After 10 years of being together they will finally jump to the next level. Me and my kankies friends are excited to witness the unforgettable event in Caleb and Sheryll's life. At first, Caleb didn't tell us the details. He just surprised us when the wedding is already set. He announced it in our YM conference chat haha. First thing that comes to my mind when i heard the news is... "Is Sheryll really sure that she will tie the knot with Caleb?" hahaha just kidding. We are happy for our dear friend. I did a cute wedding artwork. I hope the newly wed couple will like it :) Oooops another wedding soon... ;)

When i was young... I already had a camera, I remember I owned a light purple film camera when I was in grade 1... then followed by my blue transparent wide angle film camera from vivitar which i got from my aunt in the US as her "pasalubong" then the rest is history. (probably, I'll create another post for my cameras hihi) I don't have a DSLR but people would comment to me that they thought i have one, I said no. I only have Sonic (my cam's name) a Sony DSC H7 which I bought last December 17, 2007. Sonic is my travelling buddy i can't go out of town without Sonic with me... I bought 2 camera bags already, pink and black bag... Sonic already travelled from North to South. We went to the top tourist spots in the Phils like Boracay, Bohol and Palawan. More soon. Sometimes I'm thinking of selling it but at the end of the day I will decide that i will just keep it forever :) I love Sonic, It gives me good feeling and unforgettable memories of my life's special events and journey.

I'm so happy that I already achieved my goal, to go to the top tourist spots in the Philippines (Bora, Bohol and Palawan)

1. Boracay (2008 and 2010)
2. Bohol (2009 and 2011)
3. Palawan (Coron 2010 Puerto Princesa 2013) 

I'm going back to Boracay on Nov 21-23. I sooo miss the place, the white sand, the night life, the blue crystal clear water, food, d'mall, everything!

Watch out for my reviews about my Bohol and Palawan trip. Late update hihi. Thank you God for your wonderful and unbelievable creation! I'm happy! I love Life! <3

Glee Season 2

A lot of my friends are so excited for the Season 2 of Glee... I'm not really a fan of that TV Series but i do enjoy their covers and versions of songs popularized by varous artist.. I love their version of Endless Love, so sweet and young. Filipinos should be proud also because our very own Charice is the new cast of Glee! People are so curious and excited as well to see Charice on Glee. Anyway, i found the link of Glee's new covers from my friend's facebook.
